Back in December ZAAngels posted that IMDB listed Zac’s upcoming new movie, The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud will be release June 11th, 2010. Well according to Deadline Hollywood,  a few of Universal’s upcoming releases have been revised and Charlie St. Cloud is one of them:

“GET HIM TO THE GREEK, starring Jonah Hill and Russell Brand, will be released on June 4, 2010. CHARLIE ST. CLOUD, starring Zac Efron, will be released on October 15th.”

According to THR News, Zac Efron will be starring and exec-producing in a new spy thriller called Fire.

Universal is on “Fire.” The studio has picked up the rights to the graphic novel by Brian Michael Bendis. Zac Efron is attached to star and will exec produce with his manager, Jason Barrett. Neal Moritz is producing with David Engel of Circle of Confusion, the company that reps Bendis.
Written and drawn by Bendis before he went on to become one of Marvel Comics’ top writers, the story centers on a college student who is inducted into a special CIA project that tests whether training ordinary citizens to be agents can be successful. Bendis is also on board to write the adaptation.

The Hope For Haiti Telethon, which will air on all major television networks in the US (check local listings for scheduling information), will be hosted by George Clooney and it aims to raise as much money as possible to support the victims of the Haiti Earthquake. The two hour event will take place at the Beverly Hilton on Friday January 22nd.

Yesterday afternoon (01/16), Zac Efron attended Nike Live with Kobe Bryant at The Montalban in Los Angeles. Zac was on the front row whilst Kobe, who was promoting his new shoe the Zone Kobe V, was interviewed. According to the Nike Basketball Facebook, a video of the event will be available on their website soon. Zac was on hand at the 15th Annual Critics Choice Movie Awardsheld last night (January 15) at the Hollywood Paalladium in Los Angeles, CA. Zac will be presenting at the 15th Annual Critics Choice Awards alongside other presenters including Bradley Cooper, Abbie Cornish (from Sucker Punch) and house band Nick Jonas and The Administration. The awards will be broadcast live on VH1 on Friday January 15th at 9pm (the Red Carpet pre- show will air from 8.30pm). More information on the nominees and the award ceremony itself can be found HERE.
