Random Acts of Kindness
Proving that he really does have a heart of gold, Zac will be featuring in the debut episode of the new Australian TV programme ‘Random Acts of Kindness’, a show which rewards ‘unsung heroes for their generosity’ by making one of their dreams come true.
In a segment pre-recorded during his trip Down Under earlier in the year, Zac meets with Tierney Jasper, 9, who walked 60 kilometres (that’s just over 37 miles) to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House charity.

The episode airs at 6:30pm, Sunday June 14 on Channel Nine for those Aussies who want to tune in, while for everyone else, we’ll try and have the segment uploaded to Youtube as soon as we can.

I just finished watching it awwwwwwwww Zac was soo sweet.
this girl walked 60 miles and she got a 5000 check and her other surprise is she went to the Melbourne Premiere of 17 Again and the woman told Zac about this girl aww he was soo sweet to her.
he said that he was a big fan of her too and gave her 2 hugs awwww.

I won’t lie, sometimes I roll my eyes when random little girls get to meet Zac but when they are genuinely special kids its just really, really lovely. This girl is incredible, having done her walk and now raising money for Make a Wish – that’s that the $5000 Angela is referring to was, a donation to the charity.
She has some kids at her school and an uncle who have experienced the cancer battle but its not like she or one of her immediate family members have, she just seemed to have that incredibly idealistic view of wanting to change the world which is just absolutely remarkable – it’s one thing saying you want to change things but this kid is out there doing it and it kind of makes me feel in awe of her.
Oh, and she got to have a chat with and hug Zac. But that’s just icing on the cake

Dani- Totally agree. It’s easier to talk the talk, but walking the walk- which Tierney literally did in this instance, speaks volumes. Contests and raffles are good and fine, but it’s a little more special to see the ‘unsung heroes’ getting to meet those they look up to.
Has anyone seen a video of the segment online yet?

So cool I was just watching some old espisodes of Entourage on HBO and they started doing some highlights from this season. And wouldn’t you know it but Zac was on! He’s like I’m a huge fan of the show and something else that I missed because I got excited that he was on. He was in Niketown wearing a plaid shirt that he wore when he was walking around some city during 17 again promo!

Tierney was so appreciative and happy even before she knew about Zac’s involvement. That was great. Her parents are raising a fine young lady. (And yes, when Zac came back that tugged at my heart quite a bit!)
