I don’t want to harp or ‘nag’ about this too much, because I know in time, with meatier roles, it will fade. But, I felt a slight ping of not embarassment, but empathy at Zac being introduced as “Mr. High School Musical”. Perhaps as fans we pay attention to/note the desire he has to be viewed as simply an actor, not stigmatized as ‘that Disney/HSM kid.’
Claire is a sweetheart- I appreciated her notation that fans young and old got why Zac is so talented. (It was nice too when Zac quietly thanked her after).
This interview was okay in my book. I have to remember, a lot of people still know Zac/his face as ‘Troy Bolton’ or ‘the guy from HSM’. With the success of “17 Again”, and accolades like hosting SNL, presenting at various A-list award shows, etc, he’ll only continue to branch out.

He was so articulate in his answers. I loved his response to his fans & his view on the arts in public schools
Claire gave him a nice compliment too

Ohh, I loved this. Zac was totally awesome! Although, I feel like the intreviewer gave a little too much of the plot away!
