Earlier in the month, Nigel Zeff (the Associate Art Director for Flaunt Magazine) shared an image of the upcoming ‘Mercenary Issue’ featuring Zac on the cover in a Dior suit.

The full piece has now been released in the Spring 2013 Issue with an article by Randy Lee Maitland and accompanying photoshoot by Ruven Afanador (who has also photographed the likes of Nicole Kidman, George Clooney and Michelle Pfeiffer), with styling by Michael Fisher. The photoshoot took place at Acme Studios in Brooklyn during the production of Are We Officially Dating in January, with the interview taking place during Zac’s time in Austin in February.

Zac is featured on the cover and in an extensive editorial for the October 4th Issue of Backstage Magazine. Alongside a brand new image from a photoshoot with Henny Garfunkle during the Toronto International Film Festival, the issue recounts Zac’s career and discusses his future plans.

Efron is savvy about his shot at longevity in a fickle business. Unlike many actors who hit it big in their teen years, he has kept his head down and concentrated on the work. There have been no public scandals, no drunken outbursts, no reports of bad behavior on set. Efron is wise beyond his 24 years, saying, “I know I’ve been lucky. But it’s what you do with that luck afterwards that really defines whether you stick around.”

Efron points to the motif of “At Any Price” as a parallel to his career. “The theme of the movie is get big or get out,” he says. “That’s sort of the way I describe how a lot of people in Hollywood approach their careers—take the bigger movie for more money that people will see. Take the franchise, the part in your wheelhouse. But that’s not my goal. Instead of get big or get out, my goal is to get good and stay.”

As we previously announced, Zac is featured in an editorial and on the cover of the October/November 2012 issue of BlackBook Magazine. The article and interview, which was written by Joshua David Stein, reflects on Zac’s previous work, goes into depth about his day on set for the magazine shoot and the current changes in his career, ending with:

“Zac Efron reaches out his gloved arm onto which Richard, after some coaxing, grudgingly perches. The hawk fixes his great seeing eyes onto Efron’s blue ones and, perhaps thinking that Efron might know something about wanting to be free, spreads his wings to fly.”

As previously posted, Zac took part in a cover shoot for ‘BlackBook Magazine‘ last month at the Wildlife Learning Center in California. Today, the publication released a first look at the issue’s October/November 2012 cover – their ‘Party Issue’.

We had some cute animals hang out with one of our favorite party animals: Zac Efron. He’s a cutie himself, although I think you’ll be surprised how grown up he’s become now that he’s starring in the gritty upcoming film, The Paperboy, directed by Academy Award-nominated director Lee Daniels and featuring a heavyweight cast…But it’s Efron who’s making a splash in the sexy thriller and, thankfully, on the cover of our next issue.

The issue hits newsstands later this month, so be sure to pick up a copy when it becomes available and check out a larger version of the cover in the ZacE Gallery. Of course, when more coverage of the issue is available, we will post here, so check back!

Dressed in a sleek suit and with his hair slicked back, Zac visited the Wildlife Learning Center in Sylmar, CA last week for a Black Book Magazine photoshoot and shared this little video with his fans via his ‘Who Say‘ account earlier this afternoon (August 14)!

The description states:

Made a new friend (Rich the Red-Tailed Hawk) at my @BlackBook magazine photo shoot last week. Thanks to Wildlife Learning Center (@WLC_Wildlife) for providing a great location.

Zac is featured in the May 2012 Issue of Men’s Health magazine. As well as the fabulous cover [pictured above] shot by Ture Lillegraven, there is an accompanying article and photoshoot where Zac shows off the physique he earnt during The Lucky One training. It’s a warm Southern California morning, and I’m meeting Zac Efron in Studio City at a place called Weddington Golf & Tennis. With a name that stuffy, I expect marble and money. The course turns out to be public, with a plastic-cup snack bar where a waitress, without looking up, informs the 24-year-old movie star that she doesn’t take credit cards. They’ve reserved us a private tee, which is approximately 4 feet away from the adjacent public one.

Here at the practice range, Efron—in T-shirt, oversized cap, shorts, and Vans—strolls around in disarming anonymity, though to be fair, it’s hard for even the preeminent teen pinup of the 2000s to attract notice in a crowd that includes this many codgers in lavender pants. After talking and meandering (not especially well) through a bucket of golfballs, we encounter Roger Dunn, a California golf-shop magnate who gives lessons wearing a Panama hat and smoky sunglasses. We’d heard that Dunn is just shy of his 50th year of teaching, and he’s been introduced to us as a man of considerable local repute. Mostly Dunn has something to teach, and Efron is drawn to that.
