As previously announced, Zac attended the H.O.M.E. Foundation’s STIKS Celebrity Video Game Challenge last night (January 11th). Zac was on hand as the celeb rep for the I’m Too Young For This! Cancer Foundation which supports youth in their fight against cancer whilst bringing awareness to those having beaten and/or struggling with the disease. Thanks to our friends at i[2]y for confirming that Zac will be a guest at The Home Foundation’s Celebrity Video Game Championship. The I’m Too Young For This Cancer Foundation , which supports young adults in their fight against cancer, was named as one of the beneficiaries for the event and Zac is their celebrity rep who will be on hand to help raise funds by playing video games. The championship takes place on Tuesday January 11th in Hollywood, CA and is invitation only.

What could be better than Zac Efron? The Daily Telegraph covered a wonderful story of  Zac making a special visit to Sydney’s Children Hospital.

“While it’s nice that Zac’s here to visit, we got the really good news yesterday that her cancer is in remission,” Shoshana Wall said. The High School Musical star made a low-key visit to the Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick and won the hearts of patients like Olivia, their parents and the staff.

Efron, in Sydney for the premiere of his latest film Charlie St Cloud, spent an hour with the children in the cancer ward. The star was friendly and relaxed with six-year-old Olivia, an ardent Efron fan who has non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. The first-grader was happy to hug Efron and read her favourite picture book – High School Musical.

Zac recently donated one of his ties for the Second Annual “Career Gear Celebrity Tie Auction”. Career Gear is  a nonprofit organization that assists disadvantaged men find and retain employment.

I’m Too Young For This! is a charity foundation that supports young adults who are affected by cancer. Zac Efron was recently pictured ‘giving cancer the bird‘ with cancer survivor Emily Hobson. He is committed to the organisation, its cause and it’s active support of the young adult cancer movement. Zac has been sporting the charity’s wristbands for a few months now including recently wearing one to a showing of Avatar.

Zac will be participating in Oakley’s Learn to Ride Surf Lesson at Bondi Beach in Australia on Tuesday. The event is part of a fundraiser for The OneSight Foundation which has programs to improve the education and research of vision and helps people in developing countries access free eye-care. Amongst other celebrities, Zac will be in attendance at the event alongside one of the world’s top 10 surfers Tom Whitaker.
