Zac will be participating in Oakley’s Learn to Ride Surf Lesson at Bondi Beach in Australia on Tuesday. The event is part of a fundraiser for The OneSight Foundation which has programs to improve the education and research of vision and helps people in developing countries access free eye-care. Amongst other celebrities, Zac will be in attendance at the event alongside one of the world’s top 10 surfers Tom Whitaker.

The Hope For Haiti Telethon, which will air on all major television networks in the US (check local listings for scheduling information), will be hosted by George Clooney and it aims to raise as much money as possible to support the victims of the Haiti Earthquake. The two hour event will take place at the Beverly Hilton on Friday January 22nd.

A pair of Haviana flip-flops signed by Zac will be placed up for auction on Saturday 18th July at the annual ‘Pipeline To A Cure Gala’ with all proceeds benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Proving that he really does have a heart of gold, Zac will be featuring in the debut episode of the new Australian TV programme ‘Random Acts of Kindness’, a show which rewards ‘unsung heroes for their generosity’ by making one of their dreams come true.

In a segment pre-recorded during his trip Down Under earlier in the year, Zac meets with Tierney Jasper, 9, who walked 60 kilometres (that’s just over 37 miles) to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House charity.

Before heading to Vancouver later this summer, Zac lifted the spirits of some sick children today when he made a special visit to CHLA.  It looks like he joined in on some beading activities as he was seen wearing a t-shirt that said “I’m Beading Cancer.”  Marnie Rocks Beading Cancer provides beading supplies to patients and families as they receive outpatient cancer treatment.  What a special treat for the kids and I’m sure Zac helped to brighten their day! Zac has signed a hard hat to benefit “Habitat For Humanity”. The charity is dedicated to eliminating housing poverty worldwide and have helped more than 1 million people since it was founded.
