Deadline reports that Zac is close on signing his next two movie roles: The Lucky One and Die in a Gunfight. Here is a little background on both projects:

“His likely next pic is The Lucky One, a Scott Hicks-directed adaptation of the Nicholas Sparks novel for Warner Bros and producer Denise DiNovi and Kevin McCormick. Efron will play a soldier who returns from Iraq with a picture of a girl that became his good luck charm. He seeks out the girl and they develop a relationship. Will Fetters and Doug McGrath wrote the script.”

Zac appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night as part of the promotion of his new movie Charlie St. Cloud. Dressed in a black suit, he entertained the crowd of fans during the funny interview. A clearly excited Zac talked about his recent trip to New York, his love of camping and more! Check out both parts of the interview below and inside.

The Charlie St. Cloud Official Facebook Fan Page has been awash with updates recently about the new film which is released on July 30th 2010.

There is now a tab called ‘Charlie’ where you can buy tickets and find showtimes for the movie at your local theaters in time for the release. Check it out HERE.
